What can the Association offer Members?

The Access Association is an essential resource for professionals working in this field. In pursuit of its aims and objectives it does the following:

Supports existing Access professionals.
Facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experience amongst members. Promotes the appointment of Access professionals.
Promotes development and training of Access professionals.
Seeks to ensure consistency in practice and standards.
Monitors and advises on the effectiveness of current legislation, Liaises with relevant organisations in the field.
Advises on technical matters.
Represents the views of the Membership to the media, Government Departments and Local Government organisations.

What do Members receive?

Members receive a quarterly newsletter, networking facilities through regional meetings and CPD programme and information packs with an annual half day seminar at the Association's AGM.

The membership year runs for one year from the date your application is accepted and the fee has been paid. For existing members their membership will run for one year from the date their fee for the year was due.
